The goal was to design a functioning product which will satisfy the needs for a robot whose purpose is autonomous spraying in green houses. We followed a series of steps during the formulation of a product from start to finish.

Every design project needs a product vision that sets the direction and guides the product design team. The way people think about a product is crucial to its adoption and use. Whenever Holovision Product Design Team makes a release, they make sure that it’s their best solution possible.

Our Product Design Team at it’s core, is oriented towards problem solving. They needed to create first of all, a useful product and that was their job #1. Robot was designed using affordable materials and also to be resistant for any type of herbicide or pesticide.

Holovision has always applied design thinking to product design (whether physical or digital) because it’s focused on end-to-end product development, and not just the “design phase” part.

Conducted research with proffessors from both Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Agriculture from University of Banja Luka gave insight on how to develop a deeper understanding for the end users.

Right now, we are at the final design stage, working on blueprints of the SprayBot and partnering up with several teams with experience in robotics to finalize the product.
